One VST plugin which allows you to correct and edit sounds in real time is Studio Clean. As the name may suggest, this VST plugin allows you to remove any imperfections from sound, like clicks, pops, background noise and other similar artifacts, all in real-time.
In order for the VST plugin to work, you will first need to install an application which supports such kinds of plugins. After the desired application and VST plugin have been installed, the user can select several modules of Studio Clean, like a denoiser, declipper or declicker. When launching any of these modules, a new window will be displayed, in which the user can configure the parameters for each of them.
Each module offers complex configuration possibilities and it also allows you to freely adjust the settings by using a graphical equalizer which can be modified using the mouse cursor.

It allows you to correct and edit sound in real time, by using a wide range of configuration options. Besides that, it's compatible with most audio applications which support VST plugins. Furthermore, it can remove clicks and background noise efficiently.
Cons
It cannot work without having a VST-compatible application installed. Studio Clean allows you to extend the functionality of your VST-enabled audio application, by allowing you to adjust and correct the sound in real time.
